Zucchini Blossoms….from my garden!

The Zucchini plant is a prolific producer, and the best way to limit the number of zucchinis you will harvest, is to pluck the flowers.

These flowers can be used to mhm aje delicious Zucchini Blossom fritters!

And if you are looking for a good recipe…here’s one you can use!

Zucchini Blossom Fritters

Method
Pick fresh zucchini flowers, wash inside out.
Tear gently from one side and remove inside stamen.
Layer 1 zucchini flower into another to make a double layered flower.
Fill each double layered flower with 1/2 tsp crumbled goat cheese and a finely chopped olive

and fold petals to close tightly around filling.

Roll stuffed flower in seasoned flour.

Dip into egg wash.
Roll once again in seasoned flour.

Shallow fry in medium hot oil, till crisp from all sides.

Sprinkle with crumbled parmesan cheese…

and serve immediately!
